Who we are

InstrumentSpecs is an independent third-party instrument comparison platform. We neither sell instruments, nor accept sponsored content or vendor cooperation fees.

Where the data comes from

• First priority (official first-party): vendor official product pages, official datasheets / technical documents.
• Cross-verification: authorized agent/distributor structured parameter tables used to cross-check key figures.
• Confidence labels: every entry is labelled "Official first-party / Cross-verified / Single source pending verification / E-commerce reprint unverified". Figures below "Cross-verified" are never presented as final values.

Parameter conventions

Accuracy formulas are quoted verbatim (including %+digit counting errors and % o.r. reading accuracy; never omitted or converted). Measuring principle, explosion protection, SIL, turndown and other selection-critical fields follow official statements strictly.

90-day refresh rule

Each record carries a last_verified date. Entries older than 90 days are automatically downgraded and flagged "needs re-check". Prices are dynamic fields and never influence ranking weights.

Neutrality & conflicts of interest

Data correction / calibration channel

Vendors or engineers found data inconsistent with the latest official material? Submit via the data correction contact; we commit to re-verify and correct within 7 business days (last_verified is refreshed afterwards).
